Lore Martin Hold

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lore is a plein air impressionist, portrait and studio artist based in Newport Beach, California. Lore is a lifetime artist who has always had a passion for art. She is interested in drawing, painting in oil and watercolors. Lore has studied with famous California water colorist Roger Armstrong, who introduced Lore to the impressionist style. After a time painting watercolors and oils in studio, Lore expanded into plein air oil painting and discovered her new passion. Over the years has had the opportunity to study with many prominent and admired artists, which has further developed her knowledge and style.
