Wooden Boat Entry

The Newport Beach Wooden Boat Festival (NBWBF) is an annual community event, open to the public. Its mission is to honor and celebrate the heritage and the craftsmanship of wooden boats. A portion of the proceeds from the event will support maritime programs and other charities. Please join us in celebrating this heritage with our community at this year’s 10th annual event.


RELEASE OF LIABILITY

The vessel Owner/Exhibitor (Owner) agrees that Balboa Yacht Club, its Officers, Directors, Committee Members, volunteers and staff (BYC), will be held harmless from liability for damages arising from any accident caused by Owner, Owner’s guests or Owner’s vessel, including injury to Owner or damage to Owner’s property, and that Owner’s participation in this event is entirely at Owner’s risk. Owner will be responsible for any damage to BYC property and any other owner/exhibitor’s property, BYC will not accept any liability for property damage or personal injury or death sustained prior to, during, or after the event.


BOAT APPLICATION PROCESS

You will complete the application first and then be asked to pay the application fee. Your application is not complete until the fee is paid. Please gather electronic photos of your boat and proof of insurance. Both will need to be added to the application as you work to complete it.

Wood Boat Entry

Applications are accepted on a first come first served basis and submitting an application is not a guarantee of inclusion in the event. Event organizer has the right to inspect the vessel to be sure it meets the event’s quality standards. You will be notified by separate e-mail of your inclusion in the event and notified of your June 12th berthing schedule by a separate e-mail closer to the event. Any fees charged will be returned should a vessel not be admitted.
